Liquid Finishing Compounds
A finishing compound is integral to the success of a process. ActOn finishing compounds are specially formulated for vibratory and high energy finishing machines. These comprise of abrasives, brighteners, lubricating agents, cushioning materials and cleaning agents.
Our R&D department has developed specially formulated, environmentally friendly and biodegradable compounds that suit customers’ requirements. We are continuously focused on improving our existing compounds and creating new ones.

- Keeping the components and media clean, which brings stability to the process.
- Can act as corrosion inhibitor.
- ActOn polishing compounds are great for brightening of different materials.

- Act as lubricants, thus extending the media life.
- Control the solution pH.
- Will separate and cushion parts during the finishing process, thus avoiding component damage.

Choosing the Correct Compound
When choosing a compound there are 3 considerations:
Process requirements: Such as parts that need a compound with corrosion inhibitor, flat parts that can stick to each other in process will require a separating compound; or removal of heavy machine marks and burrs can be accelerated using an ActOn powder compound.
Finish requirement: From removing heat treatment, descaling, cleaning to brightening, polishing, burnishing and more.
Component material: ActOn has special formulated compounds for both ferrous and non-ferrous parts.
